Q: How do you determine whether a dental implant is needed?

A: Our dentist will evaluate your dental and medical history to determine whether or not you need a dental implant. We’ll also look at current state of your teeth and gums, including the area with the missing tooth. If dental implants are necessary our Delray Beach dentists will sit down with you and discuss your options.

Q: What first happens when dental implants are placed?

A: Dental implants are placed in the specific area where there is a missing tooth for a couple of months to allow bone growth.
